By analyzing the physical pressure between the body and mattress, you can determine inconsistent pressure points that inhibit blood circulation. The ErgoCheck system is a specially designed measuring pad with 648 individual pressure sensors distributed across the testing surface. As you can see in these ErgoCheck test results, the latex mattress distributes pressure more evenly than even the most expensive innerspring mattress without latex.
Hospital tests have shown that pressure areas registering above 32 millimeters of mercury (shown in dark blue) shut off capillary blood flow, causing muscle ache, tossing and turning, and other sleep-related discomforts. In addition, Latex dynamically adjusts to the contours of your body providing gentle orthopedic support. Note the areas of light green indicating insufficient back support on the innerspring mattress without latex.
