As most customers know our FloBeds covers are not machine washable. That is why we carry the very popular St. Dormeir Wool Mattress Protector. Even people who do not own our beds call our store in search of the popular St. Dormeir Protector.
This amazing new Wool has been specially milled by a new European process to make it completely machine washable (and dryable) without shrinking. Typical wool pads need to be dry cleaned, or at best hand washed. St.Dormeir protectors have all the convenience of polyester fills, but you can now sleep on natural wool with all its famous characteristics.
Breathability keeps you cool in the summer, and cozy in the winter, and it lasts years longer than polyester. Wool is even naturally flame retardant (Polyester burns easily because it is made from hydrocarbons – just like other plastics, gasoline, etc.).
St.Dormeir Protectors are made with 100% Cotton Terry covers, filled with New Zealand Wool. This Cotton Terry is also used as the skirt that goes all around the sides of the protector, to fit completely over your mattress. It has full elastic all around the bottom edge for the best fit. They are extremely moisture-absorbent, and they are also very soft to sleep on.
We have had 3 years of very dry weather. The thought of mandatory water rationing is not pleasant, but was on the horizon before these last two storms.
I hope the rain continues.
The sheep need it too!
Spring lambs are frolicking. They will be making future FloBeds wool and live to an old age. Are sheep-years like dog-years? One thing is certain: our customers don’t count sheep!
Maybe you should consider a natural latex mattress made with 100% pure milk of the rubber tree foam rubber cores surrounded by organic cotton and organic wool (the wool is our way of making a fire-safe mattress that meets US Open Flame Mattress Standards). No more counting sheep… just enjoy the great qualities of latex and wool in a chemical free bed of your dreams!
Your body will thank you for the natural rest and recovery you get from 100% Natural FloBeds. You put 100% into your day, get it back each night our unparalleled line of human support systems.
Natural before it was “Green”.
At FloBeds, we construct our natural latex mattresses with what folks now-a-days call Green materials, like natural rubber, organic cotton and Plein-Air Wool, not because we are jumping on the green bandwagon to sell our wares, but because it is the right thing to do. And because, that’s how we have always done it.
