Spring has arrived! Although we have all heard of spring cleaning closets, have you ever heard of spring cleaning your sleep routine? Here are 3 ways you can spring clean to sleep better:
1. Remove all technology from your bed. The blue light from your phone can keep you from getting quality sleep, so find another place for it to spend the night.
2. Wash your comforter. Most people wash their sheets on a regular basis, but not their comforters. According to Sleep.org the, “National Sleep Foundation’s own Bedroom Poll found that nearly three out of four people say they get a more comfortable night’s sleep when their bedding has a fresh scent.”
3. Rid your room of the clutter. Having a clean room puts your mind at ease and will help you sleep better.
So leave your phone in the other room, toss your comforter in the wash, pick up those socks that missed the dirty clothes hamper, and get ready to sleep better this spring.
