When we first started making a latex mattress with interchangeable components, allowing each sleeper to choose from 1 of 13 firmnesses, many in the Sleep Industry thought we were "crazy". Today, at least two other companies have followed our lead. Often Imitated, Never Duplicated. Few companies have the experience or expertise to make a sleep system fit together with interchangeable parts and close up to present a finished sleep surface. Some companies will send latex to lay on. Others have tried to replicate our foundation system. As they say, "Close only counts in dancing and hand-grenades". And no company comes anywhere near the level of customer service we feel we owe each and every one of our customers who chose a Personally Crafted FloBeds Mattress. Life is just too short to buy a hassle. If we can't make a mattress that is "just right", we'll give you your money back. Goldilocks was right! The FloBeds Sleep System is made up of many components. Many of the quality components, like Talalay Latex, is available to other manufacturers. But how it is processed, fabricated and shipped and assembled is vastly different. Click here for a view of our system coming out of the box. In many ways it is like comparing Dell Computers to the guy who assembles computers in his garage or store down the street. He may have selected, tested and burned in a set of components that work great together. Or he may add a component based on representations made by a third party, not testing the total system for a real-life application. With Dell, you know they have tested the finished product.  And then there is the service after they have your money. With Dell you know what level of service to expect. With the guy down the street, it is more of an unknown. Bottom line: you will always pay a little more to a company that provides a consistent quality product and cheerful, dependable service. Don't you owe it to your body? |
